Aweber - E-mail or newsletter service software

Aweber is one of THE leading companies that develops e-mail mail marketing software, or newsletter service software, so you can send out pre-scripted e-mails to your lists, or do broadcasts.
Anyone who knows anything about doing business online knows you have to have a list. How this helps you, is that you get people to sign up on your site via a small form that you have created yourself via the Aweber software. You control what questions are asked on this form, what order they are in, etc. & most business owners give away something free, then later on upsell them to something they have to pay for.
This is common in internet business.
Prior to putting this form on your site, you should have developed the e-mails that go out whenever you want them to. Day zero, the first day they sign up, the 2nd day, 4th day and so on.
You keep adding to the e-mails that go out, and this helps to create a bond with the people on your list helping you to sell more of your products and services, & also finding out what they need.
Communication with your list is key, otherwise they forget about you.
I also send out surveys using this survey software, which is a MUST when running a business online. You need to know what your list wants from you.
With Aweber, the benefits I like about using their software is the following:
- I can use a different address for every list.According to Spam Can laws, you have to use a snail mail address in order to be able to have a list and send out e-mails to your list. With Aweber I can change that address, so if I have different companies, I don’t have to have a different account per company, I just tweak each list according to how I want the public to see it.
- Aweber has recently come out with more ways to track who is buying from your list. This way you can send out different e-mails JUST to the people who haven’t purchased.Track how many are opening the e-mails, how many bounces you have, short versions vs. long versions, what time of the day gets opened more & so on.
- They also have e-mail templates, but I highly recommend you ONLY use text e-mails.It’s a commonly known fact if you send out e-mails using html, your undeliverable or unopen rates increase because html often gets blocked by their spam system, ISP’s spam software, their hosting company’s spam software, etc.What you can do, is have a little blurb that takes them to a web page and on that page is where you want your nice html e-mail looking template but it’s really a webpage with all the bells & whistles.
- Aweber has also come out with blog newsletters for your blog instead of just using RSS Feed which not everyone reads.
- While I’m not 100% sure, I believe that Aweber gets your e-mail delivered at a higher rate than 1shoppingcart does.1shoppingcart ended up on the black or grey list a few years back & they have problems with Yahoo mail which I’m not sure Aweber has, but please don’t quote me, you’d have to have both to see how many undeliverables actually go out.
So as you can see, Aweber is one of the top notch list building e-mail delivery systems & they recently added more features, so they do keep on top of adding more features so you are top of your business game.
I do recommend them, they are used by the majority of netrepreneurs.
