Alert Pay
Thursday, December 24th, 2009Hi everyone,
Ok, Alert Pay is like Pay Pal, except they DON’T rip you off like Pay Pal has been known to do.
You can transfer money, send money online, make payments online, use your credit card or bank account to fund Alert Pay, even use it to accept credit cards for your business, so it’s like a merchant account.
Their fee structures are different than Pay Pal’s & they are still new, so they don’t have all the currencies inline yet, but they are working hard to get there.
They actually have a phone number you can call & yes sometimes they are busy & don’t e-mail back right away, but most of the time they do.
They also accept high risk websites which would include anything adult, gambling, etc. & customers CAN’T do a chargeback once they have purchased which is FANTASTIC, but there are some limitations to that, so make sure you read their terms & conditions regarding the chargebacks before you get all excited.
They care about their customers. I already had a problem with one of the companies I paid with Alert Pay. The guy didn’t stop my subscription when I asked him to (I didn’t know you can stop it yourself within Alert Pay) & then another charge went through & he lied saying I owed him that money. Eventually I got it back from Alert Pay, so they do actually deal with each case individually & can clearly see who is ripping off whom & deal with it. Pay Pal never did that for me, they sided both times with the criminal.
So yes, you can even use Alert Pay for subscriptions memberships you may have set up for your site.
So sign up (it’s free) & give it a try. In my opinion, it’s better than using Pay Pal.
