<title>Comment on Alert Pay by Michelle</title>

<description>I can no longer recommend this company.

At first all was fine with them, I even had connections that I talked with on occasion, but as they grew, they no longer had time to take my calls.

They one of them passed me on to a manager - fine, I dealt with her.

Then around that time they started to have MAJOR problems:

1. You could no longer send money to your bank account. I didn&#039;t understand what they meant by &quot;check&quot;, so for the longest time I couldn&#039;t get my money. I waited thinking they would fix it within a week, but after almost a month had gone by, I was getting angry.

Since the manager didn&#039;t make things clear to me &amp; she kept talking about wire transfer (there&#039;s no way I&#039;m paying $25 just to get my money), I told her that since this was their fault, THEY should pay the $25 fee. I&#039;ll pay the regular 50 cents.

She refused.

I had complained on a forum &amp; someone from Alert Pay talked to me robotically saying I could use &quot;check&quot; again. I told him I needed it to go to a different address &amp; he said it could ONLY go to the address in the account. I lost it thinking for sure I&#039;d NEVER get my money.

I decided to go into my account to investigate, figured out that it really was a paper check that could be snail mailed, I changed the address (he failed to tell me I could do this) in my account &amp; I got my money.

2. Then they lost their credit card option AGAIN, which means that anyone clicking on your Alert Pay button won&#039;t be able to use their credit card.

If they don&#039;t sign up for an Alert Pay account &amp; transfer money from their bank account, it&#039;s useless.

They finally got the bank transfer fixed, then within 2 weeks it was gone again.

During all of this drama, I had tried to contact my contacts high up in the company (one had already left the company) &amp; he ignored my e-mails &amp; VM messages.

Before when they had problems I sympathized with them &amp; even tried to help them &amp; their issue only lasted a few weeks if I remember correctly, but now I no longer have any sympathy for them &amp; their problem seems to be ongoing.

This is what happens when you ignore you clients &amp; then you put them in a bad situation so they can&#039;t run their business properly.

I know other companies that are also not happy with Alert Pay.

So I went from supporting them &amp; promoting them to this.

On another note, things aren&#039;t going too well in the States when it comes to merchant accounts. The US is making it next to near impossible for anyone to do business with merchant accounts.

I hope to have merchant account solutions available some time this month for mainstream &amp; high risk &amp; foreigners.

Happy New Year

		<description>Hi all,

Just so you know, Survey Gizmo is really moving ahead with their survey software. I&#039;m using it more &amp; more now &amp; as I come up with ways for you to use it for your business, I&#039;ll list them here:

1. Quizzes
2. Polls
3. Employee Satisfaction or Engagement Surveys
4. Questionnaires for new clients (if they order &amp; you need to collect information from them in order to process their order)

I&#039;ll add more to this list in the future.

Happy Holidays &amp; Happy New Year Everyone!

<description>Things have settled down with them &amp; I haven&#039;t had a problem in a while. I don&#039;t like how they don&#039;t provide pricing before they send out an envelope or package, so I probably won&#039;t use them for mail forwarding, but other than one of their scanners mixing up the pages in one scan, all has been fine recently.

<description>Ok, so since I&#039;m an honest person, I have to give everyone an update on Mail Box Forwarding.

I&#039;ve been with them for around 3 months now &amp; I&#039;ve had problems.

1. Not having phone support is a problem. If I didn&#039;t have to reach them this wouldn&#039;t be an issue, but I do.

In my first month in the first week it took them 5-6 days before I received a response to my ticket &amp; I was waiting for a package to go out, so it wasn&#039;t just that they didn&#039;t respond to the ticket, my package was just sitting there.

While they apologized citing staffing problems, their 24 hour response time is not accurate.

At one point they had a voice mail &amp; I left a message when they had disappeared, then the next time I tried to call it a month or two later, they had shut it down which I find very unprofessional. That should have been left there for emergencies. I will never again go with a company that doesn&#039;t provide phone support.

2. Once that package was sent out, it took a long time for me to get that package even though they are very close to where I am located.

3. They don&#039;t give you prices on how much the shipping on the package is going to be, they expect you to somehow know the dimensions &amp; weight of the package (which is impossible) &amp; go to USPS&#039;s site &amp; figure it out for yourself.

The last envelope I had mailed to me was sent without first giving me a shipping price, so they don&#039;t read questions when you go to forward mail.

4. When I asked if the person responding to my ticket was a manager or the owner, my question was ignored twice.

5. 2-3 times now they&#039;ve lost my mail. Mail sent from 2 different banks never made it to them. They will suggest it&#039;s because the box number is missing &amp; on one piece of mail it was so the mail suddenly appeared when I asked if there was mail missing. While it was my mistake, normally they are supposed to try &amp; place mail that has no box number on it.

Still on the bank&#039;s mail the box number wasn&#039;t missing &amp; I never received it.

Then just this month it happened again where I didn&#039;t receive the mail after waiting 17 days. Because of this I was unable to conduct business, &amp; people were upset with me . Just to be clear, the missing mail was sent within the US.

So I&#039;m still with them, but I don&#039;t want to make it seem like they are the greatest because they aren&#039;t. The only positive thing is their prices are very very reasonable.

All &amp; all I get 90% of my mail &amp; 90% of the time they respond to the tickets within 24-36 hours, but it&#039;s just not good enough when you are running a business AND, I barely have any mail sent to them, so that means the problems occur more often than not.

Once I find a better alternative I will change.

<title>Comment on Entrepreneurs Need to De-stress by Michelle</title>

<description>So I want to update this post as I continue to read the book that came with the CDs. It&#039;s all very fascinating.

So it turns out, not only do the meditations help with stress, they help with improving a person&#039;s memory &amp; the ability to solve problems.

I know based on my own experience that when I&#039;m stressed by something, I lose all sense of control over my brain which for me is my biggest asset. In fact, THAT is when I make decisions that end up causing me more pain or regret down the road. My brain actually becomes like a cloud that is fuzzy &amp; all I am doing is reacting instead of stepping away from the problem &amp; thinking about how to solve it.

That comes from the &quot;fight or flight&quot; response part of our brain which some of you may know doesn&#039;t help anyone one bit. Even when we need to flee a dangerous situation, if we aren&#039;t thinking clearly, we will probably just box ourselves into the dangerous situation.

So according to scientific study done when people used these meditation CDs, these meditations help to relax the brain so that we can solve the problems we have &amp; make clearer more non reactive decisions.

I know that whenever I do my meditation I almost always feel way more relaxed afterward. In fact, I got so relaxed at times, that I had to have a digital voice recorder near me because new business ideas &amp; things I forgot to do at the office would keep popping into my head, LOL, so I had to make sure I captured them all.

Hope this helps &amp; you are having a &quot;stress-free&quot; lovely day!

<description>VBulletin&#039;s prices have gone up (just so you know), but they have added a ton of new features they didn&#039;t have before.

It&#039;s still worth it.
